Local families have to travel outside our community for childhood cancer treatment. The cost of gas and out of town meals is a huge extra burden, but it's a burden we can help carry! You want to help make a difference?
Grab your co-workers or friend group and host a gas card/fast-food gift card drive! Hold a bags tournament at your favorite local hangout! Sponsor us as the beneficiary of your casual day at work! There are many ways you can get involved.

Statistics
- There are over 40 families in the Greater Rockford Area battling Childhood Cancer at any given time.
- Treatment has to take place at Pediatric Oncology Hospitals. Our families typically travel to Chicago (Lurie Children's Hospital) or Madison (American Family Children's Hospital).
- Treatment can range from a few weeks to several years.
- After treatment, the trips don't stop. Long term follow up visits typically happen every 3 to 4 months for several years after a patient "Rings the bell".
