Join us on Wednesday, September 1st, as we kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with a day of prayer & fasting.
We are asking all who would, to join us as we pray for our kids who are battling cancer, their families who are supporting them, and the Pediatric Oncology medical community that is handling their care.
Make sure you follow our K Cancer Softball Facebook page on September 1st as we will be sharing videos of local area Faith Leaders as they lead us in prayer for our kids!
Pray that each and every child affected by cancer receives a divine healing! Pray that they not only receive healing from the issues they have today, but that they are protected from future relapses
66% of children who survive their battle with cancer have long lasting physical challenges resulting from their treatment, along with PTSD like challenges. Pray for physical and emotional restoration!
Growing up is a challenging prospect that is made infinitely more complex with a battle with cancer thrown in. Pray for a bright future, in spite of the obstacles!
Even the simple routines of life become daunting when a family member is battling cancer. Pray for the strength needed to fight the next battle that is around the corner, no matter how seemingly small.
No family should have to walk their childhood cancer journey alone. Pray that the right person/organization comes along at exactly the right time to supply the help needed to successfully fight this monster.
There are times when you don't have the faith/hope needed to make it through the day, let alone through years of treatment. Pray that families never lose hope, but if they do, there is someone there walking along side them who never loses their hope!
Pray that the medical staff who are treating our childhood cancer families are given wisdom, not only in crafting treatment plans, but in researching new treatments.
Pray that the surgeons, doctors, social workers, nurses, etc., that treat our children are the most skilled in their profession and are blessed with talent!
Working in the Pediatric Oncology field is a heavy responsibility. Pray that when each person in this profession goes home at night, that they are granted peace and rest so that they are at their best.
